THE INDIAN WAY OF EVE TEASING, OR YOU CAN CALL IT 'NO HARM'

So here's something that has been going on forever.
How hard is it for a girl to travel solo?
The first thought that might strike would be, why would a woman travel alone?
This right here is the first flaw in this superficial woman equality that there is in this nation, in the name of democracy.
What actually happens with a girl standing alone in a crowded place?
Staring.
People look at her.
That becomes even more unbearable when they constantly just look. It doesn't matter what the girl is wearing, those eyes will still pierce the hell out of her.
What can be done?
Do nothing.
Ignore.
An applause for the hollow brains of Indians.
Clothes?
Not wearing something that attracts 'attention'.
The solution?
There is none.
The ones even around us follow this 'no harm' game that involves just turning heads and looking at a woman.
Now?
Keep your hands clasped and observe the limits that men are willing to cross to satisfy their endless ego.
Reason?
Patriarchal Society.
.
.
Wake up India.

It wasn't easy for her to adore what she used to admire.
The stars and the moon no longer seemed to affect her
and soon, the darkness within her was delighted to do its spell.
The light for which she once fell appeared to have a glimpse of the same marks.

Above the skies of her thoughts, lay her covert secrets.
Those stars now remind her of that touch on her hands,
the kiss of the wind and the embrace of thoughts.
It was embedded deep within her, she couldn't get over it.
Still lingering for that feel, she walked down memory lane.

What's pain?

 There's this thing called pain
she holds immense power
hides in happy faces
and feeds on memories.
Once there was a girl
unaware of what pain was
life made its plans for her
and her control went to a pause.

Time did try to rob her off pain
that stubborn being still lingered.

There now lie unanswered questions
behind her beautiful smile.

3 a.m Feelings.

She wasn't sure about the feeling that kept her up all night,
she kept on searching for answers with delight.
When her mind numbing toil finally found an insight,
love eagerly flaunted its light..
Probably something without a title.

She fell in love the old fashioned way, with ideas that were rare,
She fell in love with permanence, hoping for a time she lived without fear.

A heavy heart helped her in the end, to see the light in the night sky,
With her pen as an only friend, she stood up and let her tears dry.
Feeling like the sun during a storm, she tried to keep up her momentum,
when the clouds cleared for a dawn, all that was visible was a phantom.
Now all she does is be alone and stop her mind from denying reality,
When strength comes from sources unknown,
It boosted her to move ahead to actuality.

Outcomes.

After another bitter outcome,
she promised herself to be strong.
With every broken bone,
the path had become too long.

Dreams reminded her of her past,
she always woke up reluctantly.
Living in the moment for her,
could only be possible in a dream.

Time taught her to grow,
she tried her best to move ahead.
When not bound to anything,
hatred was all she had left.

The Governing Laws of My Nature.

The lives of many are rich in colour
and of some are rich in brightness.

Finding the thing making everything happen
is a tiring task that lingers for itself.

The three things that bind the ambiance
have at last been found.
Shadows, failures, promises make the northern star
around which my life revolves.

All three of them bind everything together
irrespective of their positive or negative traits.
They also trap us in a turmoil
strengthening our will to bear the unstoppable time.

They do give birth to problems that last till infinity
forcibly snatching out our strength to cope.
But their brighter side grants us wisdom
that lays untouched by the devils within us.
