Subjective nature of Promises.

The world is love lorn and many drastic changes have transformed the entire human race. Compassion and love have gradually demolished and have led towards the era in which people have partners in crime, instead of true fellow mates.
Having cordial relations with everyone is vital for every human being. Eventually, with those relations, comes the pack of promises. It is said that we should not jump to conclusions in distress and should not make promises in true merry making moments. Friendship is something which cannot be accurately defined and many people have their own way of seeing it. This introduces us to many kinds of promises but unfortunately, we frequently are blinded by that brightness of it as we say, not realizing the color it sucks out of  a person. We are advised to believe in the power of a promise but are not advised how to endorse or demur the promise.
Promises decide the terms of loyalty among people. Promises also throw us in a fix at many crossroads. They sometimes tear us apart and to bridge this gap, we make more promises. This a vicious circle and throws us in a dilemma. There also are promises that connect two people.
With the passage of time, these promises eradicate initially. Broken promises are similar to dilapidated buildings as a partially destroyed faith in someone cannot be retrieved with anything, if retrieved, then it does not have the same charm as a fully erected building.
Gone are the days when a single promise could bring an entire population of a vicinity together. The entire world has witnessed this sea change but the change still lies in oblivion.
To retrieve, promises are a boon and should not affect relations. They might be persuasive but we should always look at the brighter side and accept what life brings for us.
